The Employee Services Agency (ESA) is a foundational County unit, supporting over 23,000 employees who, in turn, provide essential services to nearly 2 million residents. Our work includes the recruitment of new employees, hiring process support for over 40 County of Santa Clara agencies and departments, the administration of an incredible employee benefits program, and collaborating with our labor partners to provide the best possible public service compensation and working conditions.
