Verification of employment requests
The County of Santa Clara provides verification of employment for the following information:
- Current or former employee
- Current/most recent job title
- Current/most recent salary/wages
- Dates of employment
The County of Santa Clara uses VAULT VERIFY for the above employment and income verifications for commercial verifiers and government verifiers. You are considered a COMMERCIAL VERIFIER if your organization falls into one of these categories:
+ Bank
+ Lender
+ Financial Institution
+ Prospective Employer
+ Auto Dealership
+ Property Manager
+ Landlord
+ Background Screening Firm
+ Other Commercial Institution
To use Vault Verify, you will create an account prior to obtaining any report. Click here and create your COMMERICAL VERIFIER or GOVERNMENT VERIFIER account. Commercial and Government Verifiers will need to collect an authorization form from the employee (we will accept your form) in order to obtain a report, and that authorization will be submitted to Vault Verify prior to any information release. There is a fee for Commercial Verifiers to obtain a report. Please see details in the Commercial Verifier FAQ section at the bottom of this page.
For requests outside of the employment/income bullet points above, please contact us directly. We will accept both verbal and written requests for verification.
